Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age more than 18 years who have undergone permanent pacemaker implantation. Participants who visit the hospital post-implantation. Participants who can read English/Kannada fluently and meet other practical requirements.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Participants who underwent other cardiac device implantations other than pacemaker implantation. Participants with a history of speech, hearing, and mental impairments, or psychiatric disorders that may impact study results. Individuals with severe comorbidities who are critically and chronically ill and are unable to comply with the study protocol or follow-up requirements.

MeasureTime frame
1.Recoding responses of each item on the SF-36 is scored on a scale from 0 to 100 with high scores indicating better health status. 2.The scores for each scale are calculated by averaging the recoded item score within that scale. 3.Interpreting the final scores provides a comprehensive view of the participant s quality of life across different dimensions. 4.Higher scores indicate better perceived health and functioning. Timepoint: 1 year
