Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Female patients within the age group of 18 years to 60 years with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma of the breast or benign breast diseases will be recruited for the study. Voluntarily consenting women who have undergone mammography (during routine screening) and are negative for beingn breast masses will be recruited as healthy controls.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with other cancers, congenital metabolic disorders, chronic kidney disease, liver dysfucntion, acute infectious diseases, and pregnant females and women on treatment for fibroadenoma and fibrocystic disease will be excluded from the study.
