Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients having the age group between 20 to 40 years having Secondary Amenorrhoea for more than 90 days OR 3 cycles.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Amenorrhoea due to pregnancy and lactation Patients having malnutrition (BMI < 16), anemia (Hb <10 gm %), Known case of tuberculosis, SOL, epilepsy, Pituitary diseases History of the previous D and C more than two times. Uncontrolled hypothyroidism.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The primary outcome will be onset of Menstruation.Timepoint: Follow-up will be done on every 30th day till the next 3 menstrual cycles

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The secondary outcome will be the effect on serum FSH and serum Oestradiol (E2)Timepoint: On the first day of menses serum FSH, oestradiol will be measured. On the 5th day, the patient will be started with KusumSanjanan vati. Follow-up will be done on every 30th day till the next 3 menstrual cycles.Patients will be re-investigated for Serum oestradiol and FSH at 2 nd day of onset of menses of 3rd cycle.
