Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Healthy volunteers between 18 & 60 years of age, who require extraction of lower 3rd molar. 2. Both male and female. 3. Be available for follow up examinations. 4. Willing to participate in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Involvement or proximity of 3rd molar to inferior alveolar nerve using radiographic evaluation (intraoral periapical radiograph/OPG) 2. Impacted teeth. 3. Root canal treated teeth. 4. Allergy to local anaesthetics. 5. Swelling or infection associated with the 3rd molar site. 6. Pregnancy or current lactation. 7. Patients with existing systemic problem.
