Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Panoramic radiographs of children with mixed dentition 2. Healthy dentition with primary second molar with intact adjacent teeth and its successors 3. Presence of second premolar from Nolla stage 5 and Nolla stage 6 onwards

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Panoramic radiographs with unacceptable quality containing artifacts/overlapping structures 2.Children with developmental anomalies(specifically teeth size and form) 3.Panoramic radiographs of children belonging to the special health care needs. 4.Panoramic radiographs with any pathological lesions in maxillomandibular region/ skeletal malformation.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To quantify E-space by conventional method of measurement using the software of digital panoramic radiographs. 2.To develop AI model to measure E-space using panoramic radiographs. Timepoint: baseline,6months

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To compare the accuracy of AI constructed model in E-space quantification, that will be helpful in interceptive orthodontic measures.Timepoint: baseline,6months
