Intervention1: Patch A - Fractional CO2 laser combined with topical tacrolimus
: Simple randomisation on alopecia patches will be done for allocation of intervention. 2 patches within each individual

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients with patchy pattern of alopecia areata with two or more adjacent and non contiguous patches on scalp, Above the age of 12 years Not taken any form of treatment for at least 1 month.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients with confluent scalp lesions. Patients with more than 5 patches. Patients with severe alopecia areata (alopecia universalis and totalis, ophiasis) Patients on anticoagulants Pregnancy and lactation History of hypertrophic scar or keloid Patients on any form of immunosuppressive therapy Hypersensitivity to topical tacrolimus or minoxidil application
