Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patient in the age group 18 to 65 years. 2. Patient reporting with interforaminal mandibular fractures indicated for open reduction and internal fixation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patient with severely comminuted fracture. 2. Patient with infected mandibular interforaminal fracture. 3. Patient with systemic conditions affecting the bones and teeth. 4. Patient with psychiatric illness.

1. To determine the best available plating option among the most commonly used systems of plating in the interforaminal region.Timepoint: Post op day 1, post op day 7 and 1 month post operatively.	—
