Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patient will be irrespective of socioeconomic status 2. Classical sign and symptoms of vatarakta 3. Patients willing to give informed written consent for clinical trial 4.age 20 to 60 years of either sex

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with known case disorders like TB, Malignancy, HIV, trauma, cardiac disease, Neurologicaldisorders,uncontrolled DM & HTN etc., associated with gout. 2. Pregnancy and lactating women. 3. Diagnosed cases of any severe arthritis condition like rheumatoid arthritis, severe osteoarthritis and osteoporosis & deformities

MeasureTime frame
To assess the efficacy of haridraamrutak kwath in treatment of vatarakta for 8weeks Timepoint: Follow up on 2nd week, 4th week, 6th week ,8th week

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1. To review literature about vatarakta in detail from ayurved samhita & textbooks. 2. To review literature about gout from modern books & internet. 3. To review literature about kwatha kalpna in the treatment of Vatarakta 4. To evaluate the efficacy of amrutadi kwatha in treatment vatrakta 5. To compare the efficacy of haridraamrutak kwatha & amrutadi kwatha the treatment of vatarakta. 6. To observe the adverse drug reaction if any. Timepoint: Assessment will be done on 0, 2nd,4th, 6th & 8th week for follow up.
