Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1 Age more than equal to 18 years 2 Admitted to one of the participating ICUs 3 Admitted to the ICU for more than 24 hours or anticipated length of stay in the ICU for 24 hours or more 4 Informed consent according to local ethical committee
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1 Readmission to the ICU during the same hospitalization episode 2 End Stage Kidney Disease treated with maintenance RRT 3 Missing AKI defining data no measured serum creatinine and less than 6 hours of documented urinary output
