Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Apparently healthy individuals, willing to participate Age group: 18-40yrs Sex- both male and female.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Individuals with congenital craniofacial anomalies (e.g., cleft lip/palate, craniosynostosis) Individuals with facial deformities due to trauma, surgery, or burns Individuals diagnosed with chromosomal or genetic disorders (e.g., Down syndrome, Turner syndrome, Marfan syndrome) Individuals with developmental anomalies affecting head and neck proportions Individuals with active or chronic infectious diseases (e.g., tuberculosis, leprosy) that may alter facial structures Individuals with hormonal or metabolic disorders impacting facial or skeletal morphology (e.g., Cushing s syndrome, acromegaly, goiter, hypothyroidism, obesity) Individuals with neurological or muscular disorders affecting facial symmetry and function (e.g., facial nerve palsy, Bell s palsy, ptosis, strabismus, myasthenia gravis) Individuals with autoimmune disorders involving facial tissues (e.g., systemic lupus erythematosus, scleroderma) Individuals with skeletal deformities or craniofacial dysplasia (e.g., achondroplasia, osteogenesis imperfecta) Individuals with tumors or cystic lesions in craniofacial or cervical regions Individuals with a history of orthognathic surgery, orthodontic treatment, or craniofacial prosthetics Individuals with psychiatric or cognitive disorders that interfere with cooperation or measurement accuracy

Establishment of normative reference values of Charakokta Angula Pramana for Shirogreevagata Pratyanga (head and neck parts) in healthy individuals. These include the measurement of Ayurvedic units (Angula) for structures such as Mastaka (head), Lalata (forehead), Nasika (nose), Ostha (lips), Karnas (ears), and Greeva (neck) as described in classical Ayurvedic texts (Charaka Samhita). The aim is to standardize these anatomical structures based on traditional measurements.Timepoint: 4weeks

MeasureTime frame
Outcome 1: To evaluate the influence of demographic & constitutional factors (such as age, gender, height, & Ayurvedic Prakriti) on variations in Angula Pramana. This helps in understanding whether these traditional measurements vary significantly with biological & Ayurvedic parameters. Outcome 2: To determine the degree of deviation or alignment between Ayurvedic (Angula-based) & modern (millimeter/cm-based) craniofacial measurements. This may help identify if traditional measures can be reliably used in current anthropometric studies or clinical applications. Timepoint: 4 weeks
