Intervention1: Nisha Aamlaki Churna : 5 Grams, oral route, Two times ( Morning and Evening) For 10 weeks. Control Intervention1: Brahmi churna: 5 Grams, oral route, Two times ( Morning and Evening)

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients of both male and female sexes from age group 20-60 years. Signs and symptoms of Madhumeha. Fasting Blood Plasma glucose. Greater than 7.0 mmol/l (126mg/dl) OR Post Prandial Blood Plasma glucose. Greater than 11.1 mmol/l (200mg/dl). BMI Greater than 23 Kg/m2 to 30 Kg/m2.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients of Diabetes mellitus receiving Insulin or taking allopathic medicine. Patients having chronic complications of Diabetes mellitus. Micro vascular Retinopathy, Neuropathy and Nephropathy. Macro vascular Coronary artery disease, Peripheral vascular disease & Cerebro-vascular disease. Other chronic debilitating disease like STD etc.
