Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1)Patients having signs and symptoms of padshoth as per the ayurvedic view. 2)Patients irrespective of their sex will be included in the study. 3)Patients of age group between 30 to 60 years will be selected.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Patientof age less than 30years and greater than 60years. 2)Patients having cogenital anomalies, having diabetes mellituss,having history of systemic illness,who is immunocompromised,known case of chronic kidney disease,oedema due to acute trauma,deep vein thrombosis, filariasis, stroke,fracture. 3)Woman who is in Antenatal or in Postnatal care.

1)To study the ayurvedic aspect of shoth vyadhi in detal. 2)To study the pedal oedema as per modern science. 3)To study the punarnavashtak in detail. 4) To study the serum protein examination. 5)To study the effect of punarnavashtak kwath on signs and symptoms of padshoth along with the changes in serum protein.Timepoint: 18 months
