Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients who give consent for the study. Patients with mild and moderate crowding requiring fixed orthodontic treatment. Good oral hygiene and healthy periodontium.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who do not give consent for the study. Patient with severe crowding. Chain Smokers and tobacco users patient. Poor oral hygiene. Patients with compromised periodontium. Patients with allergic reaction to material use in the study. Systemic illnesses like Diabetes mellites, AIDS, patients on medication like phenytoin, or immunosuppressants

Evaluation and compare of antimicrobial properties of nickel-titanium arch wire with titanium dioxide coated nickel-titanium arch wire and zinc oxide coated nickel-titanium arch wire.Timepoint: 2cm wire from the posterior part of the maxillary arch wire will be collected after 4 weeks from the day of wire insertion.
