Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Diagnosed patients of Bronchial Asthma on combination inhaler of ICS/LABA (Budesonide 200mcg & Formoterol Fumarate 6mcg). Age group : Young adult 20 to 39 years. WHO Ayurveda symptoms score for Tamaka Shwasa less than 47 Peak Expiratory Flow Rate more than 300L/min Blood oxygen saturation (Spo2) more than 92 percent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients of Acute Severe Asthma. WHO Ayurveda symptom score for Tamaka Shwasa more than 47 H/O Tuberculosis, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, Emphysema, other complicated respiratory diseases. K/C/O Hypertension, Diabetes mellitus & Cardiac involvement. Patients with frequent H/O hospitalisation due to Status Asthmaticus. Patients classically contraindicated for Haritaki administration (pregnancy, underweight, who has undergone bloodletting, condition of excessive hunger, thirst & heat stroke).

The outcome will be assessed at 8 weeks and follow up will be taken after every 20 days in Shishir Ritu.	—
