Intervention1: Comparison of glycemic control of type 2 diabetes patients on vildagliptin with metformin versus dapagliflozin with metformin: Comparison of HbA1C, fasting blood glucose , post prandial

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients of age more than18 years diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus on metformin treatment. Patients must be eligible to be prescribed either Dapagliflozin or Vildagliptin in addition to their existing metformin treatment.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Individuals with type1diabetes mellitus. Pregnant or lactating women. Patients who are unwilling to participate.
