Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Subject with ultrasound scans, showing single or multiple uterine fibroids. Subject with size of fibroid less than or equal to 5 cm. Subject with regular as well as irregular cycles. Subject with symptomatic and asymptomatic uterine leiomyoma. Subject willing to sign consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Subject with pedunculated fibroids. Subject with metrorrhagia, Menometrorrhagia. Subject with post-menopausal period. Subject with known case of any malignancies. Subject with pregnancy and lactation period. Subject with chronic systemic illness, Subject with uncontrolled Diabetes Mellitus. Subject with Hb less than 8gm%. Subject with gastric ulcer, gastritis, colitis. Subject with Other bleeding disorders. Subject with degenerative changes in leiomyoma. Subject who are non cooperative.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
improvement in objective symptoms: uterine fibroid size.Timepoint: 30th day, 60th day, 90th day

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Improvement in subjective symptoms: Abnormal uterine bleeding, Dysmenorrhea, lower abdominal pain.Timepoint: First visit to opd on Oth day. First follow up after one month of her previous cycle. Second follow up after 60 days. Third follow up after 90 days. USG, LFT, RFT will be done on 0th day and after third follow up gets over.
