Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 Age 18 to 60 years of both gender. 2 Subjects with diagnosis of periodontitis Stage III or IV. 3 Full mouth plaque score 15 Percent PI 1.5 & full mouth bleeding score FMBS 15 percent at the time of enrolment. 4 Subjects in good general health with normal Platelet count ASA I 5 Etiological periodontal therapy completed at least 3 months prior to the screening. 6 Presence of one natural tooth having a vertical defect with residual probing depth PD 5 mm and radiographic intrabony component 3mm and radiographic angle of defect between 25 to 45 degree.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 Grade C periodontitis. 2 Smoking habits. 3 Pregnancy and lactation. 4 History of periodontal surgery or prosthetic restorations at the experimental teeth. 5 Mobility of teeth greater than Grade II. 6 Non vital teeth or occlusal trauma. 7 Known Allergy from Tranexamic acid.
