Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Newly diagnosed patients of kaphapittaja prameha on the basis of presence of classical signs and symptoms Patients of either sex in the age group of above 18 years and below 70 years. HbA1c is between 5.7% -12%.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patient having vatolvana/ vataja prameha/ Diabetes mellitus Type-1[IDDM]. Patients with other metabolic and endocrine disorders or any other serious illness Patients with diabetic wounds / ulcers. Patients having chronic complications of Type 2 Diabetes or other chronic debilitating disease like STD etc. Pregnant and lactating women. Patient undergoing any other treatment for diabetes.
