Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All consenting adults undergoing LDLT with right lobe grafts at AIMS, Cochin will be recruited for the study. Recipients of right lobe grafts requiring anterior sectoral outflow reconstruction. - At least one anterior sector vein must be present for reconstruction.

MeasureTime frame
To compare the radiological graft patency at 14 days between polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) vs. Polyethylene Terephthalate (Dacron) reconstructed neo-MHV following right lobe LDLT.Timepoint: 14 days from day of surgery and 90 days from day of surgery

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To compare the primary patency of PTFE vs Dacron reconstructed neo MHV at 90 days following Right lobe LDLT.Timepoint: 90 days from day of surgery;To compare the postoperative outcomes of recipients with patent & thrombosed neo MHV grafts. This will include: a) For patent grafts only - early graft dysfunction, Small for size syndrome, Primary graft non-function b) Length of icu stay c) Hospital stay in the immediate post transplant period d) Sepsis-related early mortality (mortality secondary to sepsis within 90 days post-transplant) e) All-cause mortality at 90 days; immediate complications (vascular & immunological) f) Interventions like re-exploration & percutaneous drainage immediately post-transplant.Timepoint: 90 days from day of surgery
