Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Children aged between 6 to 9 years requiring dental treatment. 2. Children who were rated +ve on the Frankl behavior scale. 3. Children with sufficient cognitive skills to complete the self-report scale.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Children whose parents refused to participate in this study. 2. Children with any systemic diseases or developmental delays. 3. Children with any other respiratory diseases. 4. Children under any medications. 5. Children with acoustic problems. 6. Children who are allergic to lavender essential oils that will be used in this study. 7. Children who are allergic to local anesthesia.
