Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children with special healthcare needs, with: 1.Mild intellectual disability as specified by Unique Disability Id Card 2. Intelligence Quotient in the range of 55-69. Children aged 6-14 years. Children whose parents/guardians have given the consent. 3. Children with pit and fissure caries and requiring atraumatic restorative treatment will participate using split mouth method.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Children with special healthcare needs with moderate, severe, profound and unspecified intellectual disability as specified by Unique Disability Id Card 2. Children with special healthcare needs with Intelligence Quotient below 55.13 3. Children under anti-anxiety medication.[13] 4. Children without the consent of parents/guardian. 5. Medically compromised children. 6. Children who refuse to play. 7. Children requiring invasive procedures for treatment.
