Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Age 18 to 65 years 2.ASA Physical Status I or II 3.BMI 18.5 to 34.9 kg per meter square 4.Patients scheduled for elective laparoscopic cholecystectomy under general anaesthesia 5.For diabetic group, Known T2DM with HbA1c level less than 6.5 percent, FBS less than 180 mg per dL and Duration of diabetes less than or equal to 5 years
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.History of GERD or upper GI surgery 2.Use of prokinetics, opioids or drugs affecting gastric motility 3.Pregnancy 4.Anticipated difficult airway
