Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA grade 1 & 2, scheduled for elective laparoscopic cholecystectomy

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pregnancy Allergy to study drugs Morbid obesity Chronic pain medication Post operative nausea and vomiting history

MeasureTime frame
To compare the efficacy of analgesia between Transversus abdominis plane block and intra-peritoneal instillation of ropivacaine by comparing the meantime of the first dose of rescue analgesia in either group and the total supplementary analgesia required.Timepoint: Patient will be assessed post operatively at 30 min, 2 hour, 4 hour, 6 hour and 12 hour. Last outcome time point is 12 hour.
