Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with more than 18 years of age and diagnosed with any subtype of pituitary adenoma Patients presenting at participating centers for new diagnosis, treatment, or follow up.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with incomplete or ambiguous diagnostic records.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Demographic characteristics: Age, Gender and Geographic distribution, socioeconomic status, weight, height, BMI, family history of tumors. Comorbidities. Hormonal profile like prolactin levels, GH levels, IGF-1, ACTH, TSH, LH, FSH RBS, Genetic tests and Biopsy. Radiological and Histopathological findings of operated pituitary adenomas. Management of the disease like medical management and medications used, surgical management. Timepoint: at 6 months for early outcome trends, short-term effects. Followed by each 6 months and annually for Long term outcome monitoring and evaluation.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Patient reported outcomes: EQ 5D 5L Quality of Life QoL: Evaluates general health status. Visual Symptoms: Assesses vision related issues common in pituitary adenoma patients. Endocrine Symptoms: Focuses on hormonal imbalances & related symptoms. Nasal Symptoms: Addresses nasal issues, particularly relevant post transsphenoidal surgery. Clinician reported outcomes: Length of hospital stay, hospitalizations , follow-up adherence Remission rates, recurrence , survival rates, mortality rates.Timepoint: at 6 months for early outcome trends, short-term effects. Followed by each 6 months & annually for Long term outcome monitoring & evaluation.
