Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children in the age group of 12 -71 months. Children with signs of Early Childhood Caries having initial to moderate carious lesions as per ICDAS II score 0-4. Children with no underlying systemic or metabolic disorders.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Children with special health care needs. Children having craniofacial deformities or syndromes.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The primary outcomes of this in-vivo study at a follow up of every 3 months will be: - Change in number of sound teeth. Change in number of cavitated teeth. Change in number of white spot lesions. Timepoint: baseline (T0), 3 month (T1), 6 months (T2) and 9 months

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The secondary outcomes of this in-vivo study at the end of study will be: - Variations in Snyder test parameters. Variation in Streptococcus mutans count. Salivary flow rate.Timepoint: baseline (T0) and 9 months (T3)
