Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To train obstetrician attendings, post-graduates (PGs), and nurses in accurately estimating and documenting QBL in cesarean sections to ensure standardized documentation and managementTimepoint: To train obstetrician attendings, post-graduates (PGs), and nurses in accurately estimating and documenting QBL in cesarean sections to ensure standardized documentation and management after 8 weeks

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1. Develop and disseminate culturally tailored and resource-appropriate QBL guidelines for postpartum hemorrhage management to ensure local adoption 2. Measure the impact of QBL implementation on clinical outcomes in post-caesarean care 3. Establish a system of continuous quality improvement and capacity building to sustain and scale QBL implementation in cesarean sectionsTimepoint: 1. Finalized draft of the QBL management protocol in local language and English with local resource adaptation. Distribution of the management protocols as e-books to all trained staff 2. At baseline 30% of cesarean section patients will get complete blood counts for suspected blood loss anemia. We will measure the proportion change pre and post implementation. 3. Identify, train, and certify 6 QBL champions (3 obstetricians, 2 PGs and 2 nurses)
