Inclusion criteria: All patients above 18 years of age All patients who are diagnosed case of COPD

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patient diagnosed with Bronchial Asthma Patient Diagnosed with Bronchiectasis Patient Diagnosed with Active pulmonary Tuberculosis Patient diagnosed with Malignancy

1) To assess the prognostic value of NLR in predicting in-hospital mortality in patients with acute exacerbation of COPD 2) To assess prognostic value of PLR in predicting in-hospital mortality in patients with acute exacerbation of COPD 3) To assess the prognostic value of lactate levels in predicting in-hospital mortality in patients with acute exacerbation of COPDTimepoint: 9 months

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1) To analyze the association between Neutrophil to Lymphocyte Ratio (NLR) and specific clinical outcomes, such as the duration of hospital stay, need for intensive care unit (ICU) admission, & mortality in patients with acute exacerbation of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). 2) To analyze the association between Platelet to Lymphocyte Ratio (PLR) and secondary outcomes, including the duration of hospitalization, ICU admission, and mortality in individuals experiencing acute exacerbation of COPD. 3) To analyze the association between serum lactate levels & additional clinical parameters, such as the length of hospital stay, ICU admission, & mortality, in patients with acute exacerbation of COPD.Timepoint: 9 months
