Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who test positive for other ANAs in the absence of anti-Ro52 and anti-Ro 60 (SSA) and patients under the age of 18 years will be excluded from the study. Samples received from health care units other than Kasturba Hospital, Manipal, will not be included in this study.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
1.The study findings could help clarify the role of anti-Ro antibodies as biological markers or severity markers of CTDs and the clinical disease association of anti-Ro antibodies. The findings can assist clinicians in better monitoring and management of patients with connective tissue diseases. Timepoint: 18 months

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1.Follow-up studies could be planned to explore the direct pathogenic mechanisms of anti-Ro52 antibodies in specific connective tissue diseases.Timepoint: 18 months
