Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Participants having edentulous maxillary and mandibular ridge reported to the department of prosthodontics for new complete denture fabrication Participants on examination have ACP class I and II

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Participants with age more than 90 years Participants with ACP class III and IV Moderate psychosocial consideration and or moderate oral manifestations of systemic diseases or conditions such as xerostomia Psychosocial conditions warranting professional intervention Participants with neuromuscular disorders Participants with severely resorbed ridge tori Participants with history of any surgery involving residual alveolar ridge Participants with restricted mouth opening including OSMF Serious systemic disease that may make it difficult to participate in this study Participants not willing to enroll in the study Participants with premalignant lesions and conditions like OSMF lichen planus erythroplakia erythroleukoplakia etc

To evaluate the baseline denture retention & bite force of complete denture before the application of denture adhesive.
