Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (a) Adult patients aged 65 years and above (b) Patients with ASA Grade I-III (c) Patients undergoing major abdominal surgeries

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (a) Patients aged less than 65 years (b) Patients who had any lower limb amputation, paraplegia or neuromuscular disorders (c) Patients undergoing minor surgeries under local anaesthesia (d) Patients with Chronic Kidney Disease Stage IV and V (e) Patients with a history of stroke and its sequelae
