Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Primary brain tumour patients aged 6 years and above. Minors will be involved in the study, will be subjected to an informed consent form for parents and a separate child assent form. 2. Neurocognitive assessment done as per age matched Wechslers scale or other scales of neurocognitive assesement.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. patients with altered sensorium. 2.Patients in whom the life expectancy is expected to be less than 12 months.

| 1.To assess resting state functional brain networks (RSNs) in brain tumour patients (comparison with age matched healthy subjects as control group will be done as per the literature) and establish a correlation with neurocognitive functioning.Timepoint: Neurocognitive testing and Resting fMRI will be performed as follows : Baseline will be obtained : Pre-operative OR Post-operative before adjuvant treatment (RT &/or chemotherapy). Follow-up scans: 1)Yearly scans from the date of commencement of adjuvant therapy for 2 consecutive years. 2)Yearly scans in post surgery cases in the absence of adjuvant treatment (as per disease biology indication eg: Pilocytic astrocytoma) for 2 years. SCANNING TIMELINES AND NEUROCOGNITIVE TESTING OF RS-fMRI : Baseline Follow-up Pre-operative/Post-operative before 1) Yearly scans from the date of adjuvant treatment commencement of adjuvant therapy for (RT &/or chemotherapy) 2 consecutive years. 2) Yearly scans in post surgery cases in the in the absence of adjuvant treatment(as per disease biology indication eg: Pilocytic astrocytoma)for 2 consecutive years. | — |
