Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age 18 to 45 years First ever stroke diagnosed medically Employed at the time of stroke Cognitive ability to participate in assessments and interviews Participants must be enrolled within 1 month of stroke onset

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Participants with aphasia Participants with pre-existing severe physical disabilities that might confound post-stroke recovery assessments Diagnosed psychiatric illnesses affecting participants ability to perform ADLs Any orthopaedic or cardiovascular condition affecting activity and participation Participants with recent major surgeries or unrelated chronic conditions impacting recovery (example advanced cancer) Unstable medical conditions such as recurrent stroke acute infections Uncontrolled HTN that could affect follow up
