Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Premenopausal females between age 18 - 50 years 2) ASA I and II 3) Scheduled for Oocyte Retrieval

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Refusal to Participate 2) Diabetes Mellitus or Chronic Kidney disease 3) Prior upper GI surgery 4) BMI more than 30

1. To qualitatively assess the antral grade 2. To calculate the fasting gastric volume using antral CSATimepoint: before surgery

MeasureTime frame
To correlate the fasting gastric volume with: 1. Hormone levels in the blood (oestrogen, progesterone, LH) prior to the day of oocyte maturation trigger and on the day of oocyte retrieval. 2. Number of IVF cycles. 3. Total dose of the GnRH analogue.Timepoint: before surgery
