Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: -SAWHNEYS type II and III ankylosis without medial involvement. -Unilateral ankylosis. -Patient below 60 years of age. -Healthy patient [American society of Anesthesiologists(ASA) 1 and 2]. -Willing to give informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: -SAWHNEYS type I and IV ankylosis -Patient with history of previous TMJ surgery. -Patients not willing for follow up. -Patient with any local or systematic disease contraindicating surgical procedure
