Intervention1: GROUP X - Cisatracurium: Group X receiving Cisatracurium in the dose of 0.1 mg/kg Control Intervention1: GROUP Y- Atracurium: Group Y receiving Atracurium in the dose of 0.5 mg/Kg

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Mallampati Score (MPS) I & II 2) American society of Anaesthesiologist (ASA) grade I (a normal healthy patient with no systemic disease ) & II ( patient with mild systemic disease such as well controlled diabetes, hypertension, etc ) 3) Patient undergoing elective abdominal surgery under general anaesthesia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Emergency surgeries 2) Pregnant and Lactating patients 3) Mallampati score (MPS) III & IV and anticipated difficult intubation 4) Patients with drug allergy 5) Patients receiving drugs known to interact with neuromuscular blocking agents

MeasureTime frame
To evaluate the intubating conditions with equipotent (2ED95 ) doses of Cisatracurium and Atracurium in abdominal surgery under general anaesthesia under the following criteria. 1) Onset 2) Hemodynamic effects 3) Intubating condition Timepoint: Time and train of four count is first recorded just after administering the drug. Train of four count will be recorded every 2 minutes until train of four count is 1/4 which will be recorded as the onset time.
