Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status grade I & II patients,undergoing prone position craniotomy with expected duration of surgery up to 4 to 7hrs, at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Rishikesh will be enrolled in the study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: obese patients patients who refuse to consent for the surgery. patients with significant cardiac, respiratory , renal & liver disorders. patients with haemoglobinopathies. patients with more than 3 attempts for intubation. patients with massive blood loss-more than 50% in 3 hours patients with prone position more than 7 hours
