Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Quality of recovery (QoR) following intraperitoneal instillation of bupivacaine with or without Dexamethasone in patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy, using the QoR-15 (QoR-15) questionnaireTimepoint: Baseline QoR-15 score- 12 hours prior to Surgery Final QoR-15 score - 24 hours after surgery

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1.Time to first rescue analgesia. 2.Total amount of rescue analgesia in the first 24 hrs postoperatively. 3.Incidence of nausea and vomiting during the first 24hrs, postoperatively. 4.Time to discharge after surgery Timepoint: 24 hours after surgery and at the time of discharge
