Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Age: 30 to 50 years - Diagnosed cases of MASLD as per AASLD criteria 1 - TSH normal 0.5 to 4.0 mU per L 21 - Provide written informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Known cases of somatic neuropathy - Known history of thyroid disease, surgery of thyroid gland, exposure to radiation of the thyroid gland, taking thyroid hormone replacement or receiving medications known to modify the thyroid functions such as lithium, amiodarone. - Liver cirrhosis, malignancies, Hepatitis B or C, autoimmune hepatitis, hemochromatosis, Wilson s disease, hereditary liver disorders etc. - Advanced or decompensated liver disease, variceal bleeding, ascites, hepatic encephalopathy, or coagulopathy. - Significant alcohol intake more than 20g per day in women and more than 30gper day in men. - Past or current history of major illnesses like renal impairment, autoimmune disease, unstable cardiac disease, TB, HIV - Taking any medication that effects glycemic levels, liver function, nerve function and lipid levels - Any cardiac defibrillator, pacemaker, or any other implanted devices - Pregnancy and lactation - Cognitive impairment preventing reliable participation

To determine if a significant correlation exists between serum fT3 levels and NCS parameters - latency (ms), amplitude (mV) and conduction velocity (m/s) in MASLD patients, aged 30 - 50 years, not suffering from clinically diagnosed peripheral somatic neuropathy.Timepoint: From baseline to end of study

- To evaluate how the correlation between serum fT3 levels & NCS parameters (if any) varies with the cardio-metabolic risk factors namely type 2 diabetes mellitus, stage 1 hypertension & above, & dyslipidemia, in patients with MASLD, aged 30 - 50 years, not suffering from clinically diagnosed peripheral somatic neuropathy.Timepoint: From Baseline to end of study
