Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Skull base tumor excision in which unilateral nasoseptal flap is harvested and used for reconstruction of the skull base

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Post radiotherapy 2. Revision pituitary cases 3. Tubercullum sella tumors 4. Malignancies involving nasal septum 5. Patient not giving consent

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To assess if use of nasal septal mucosa as a graft can help in mucosalisation of nasoseptal flap donor site by fastening healing, reducing nasal obstruction and crusting and this will be compared to no interventionTimepoint: 2 weeks 6 weeks 3 months

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1. To compare the healing time of nasal mucosal graft vs reverse nasoseptal flap & middle turbinate graft from existing literature 2. How many patients had complications like- graft necrosis, granulation tissue, infection Timepoint: 2 weeks 6 weeks 3 months
