Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Males & females aged between 18-55 years of age Patients with temporomandibular disorders diagnosed according to the Research Diagnostic Criteria for Temporomandibular Disorders (RDC/TMD) Temporomandibular joint disorders, Temporomandibular joint disorder, unspecified, Arthralgia of temporomandibular joint, Arthritis of temporomandibular joint, Arthropathy of temporomandibular joint Patients with pain that was not related to acute trauma, active inflammation or infection in the masticatory muscles/temporomandibular joint for at least three months Willing to participate

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with temporomandibular disorders due to disc displacement with reduction, disc displacement with reduction with intermittent locking, disc displacement without reduction with limited opening, disc displacement without reduction without limited opening, subluxation, hypermobility disorders, systemic arthritis, idiopathic condylar resorption, osteochondritis dissecans, osteonecrosis, neoplasm, fractures, fibromyalgia. History of head or face trauma Systemic diseases, such as psoriatic arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, gout, inflammatory, oncologic, or viral diseases of the face, jaw, spine, or skeletal muscles Patients already undergoing physiotherapy treatment for Temporomandibular disorders
