Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: All adult patients in ICU requiring mechanical ventilatory support
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients already developed VAP at the time of evaluation for inclusion in the study. Immuno-compromised patients (HIV, HBsAg positive, Leukemia, On immune suppressants).
