Placement of collagen graft material over the implant surface for improvement of gum thickness and bone levels in participants with missing teeth. This healed gum tissue will be evaluated for the protein content and the levels will be compared with normal tissues.

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Subjects with posterior edentulous areas indicated for implant placement Healthy keratinized soft tissues with 1 to 2mm soft tissue height at crestal and buccal and lingual area At least 2mm keratinized mucosa on buccal and 2mm on lingual or palatal area Subjects with physical and psychological ability to undergo implant therapy with ASA I or II

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Receiving or having pharmacological treatment affecting wound healing within 3 months prior to surgical intervention Subjects with poor compliance Subjects with untreated periodontitis Subjects with systemic diseases and conditions Pregnant or lactating women
