Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with alcohol dependance syndrome who are in the age group of 18 to 65 years, who have fulfilled ICD-10 criteria for alcohol dependence syndrome and receiving treatment for the condition. Patients with alcohol dependance syndrom who can read and understand Malayalam, Kannada and English.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with alcohol dependance syndrome who has co-morbid psychiatric illness. Patients with alcohol dependance syndrome who has polysubstance abuse. Patients with alcohol dependance syndrome who has severe physical illness. Patients with alcohol dependance syndrome who has withdrawal symptoms or delirium tremens.
