Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Children between the age group of 8-11 years 2.Children categorized as high caries risk following the ORA test. 3.No report of use of antibiotics 3 months prior to the beginning of the study. 4.Children free from any systemic (or) local diseases which can affect the salivary secretion (such as submandibular duct caniculi, asthma and diabetes mellitus)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Children with special health care needs 2.Children undergoing orthodontic treatment. 3.Children with known allergy to milk or milk products.

MeasureTime frame
The primary outcome of the study is to see the changes in salivary bacterial load, which serves as a direct indicator of caries risk modification in high caries risk children along with changes in salivary pH and salivary flow rate, which help evaluate the acid-neutralizing and salivary stimulation effects of the remineralizing agents, which aids caries control in high caries risk individualTimepoint: 1 month.

MeasureTime frame
A secondary outcome of the study is to assess the sustainability of the effects of remineralizing agents beyond their active usage, through follow-up evaluations after cessation. If favourable results are observed, the findings would warrant further investigation on a larger sample size to validate the outcomes and enhance the reliability of the conclusions.Timepoint: 2 months
