Intervention1: Concurrent training: combined aerobic and strength training will be given for 3 days per week for 12 weeks. Control Intervention1: General Body Relaxation: Jacobson relaxation technique

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Early post-menopausal women in stage 1a, 1b and 1c, according to STRAW +10 criteria. Women with 1 to 8 years post menopause. Subjects volunteering to participate. No previous history of any mental or psychological impairment that involves the inability to follow the instructions provided.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Individuals who practice other techniques (e.g.- yoga etc.) that might interfere with the results of the intervention that are to be assessed. Chronic inflammatory conditions that might interfere with the readings. Women with hysterectomy. Women with any genetic or metabolic disorder. Women on hormone replacement therapy.
