Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Internet Gamers: Healthy university students, English-speaking, who game for more than 3 hours/week for the past 12 months. Non-Gamers: Healthy university students, English-speaking, who game for less than 1 hour/week or not at all for the past 12 months.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (For Both Internet Gamers and Non-Gamers Groups) History of drug/alcohol/substance use disorder. History of behavioural addiction other than gaming disorder such as gambling disorder. Diagnosed psychiatric illness or on any prescribed medication for a psychiatric disorder. Returns incomplete questionnaire forms (secondary exclusion)

Compare the scores of global motivation among internet gamers and non-gamers in these university students. 3.
