Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Participants in the age group of 14 to 25 years. 2.Patients requiring bilateral orthodontic tooth extraction in each arch/quadrant would be included in the study. 3.Medically fit patients (ASA I & II). 4.Patients showing positive behavior as per Frankl behavior rating scale.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients with localized infection in the area of tooth extraction. 2.Grossly decayed premolar teeth requiring surgical extraction. 3.Patients with bleeding disorders. 4.Medically compromised patients (ASA III & above) 5.Patients with compromised periodontal health. 6.Patients showing negative behavior as per Frankl behavior rating scale

It is anticipated that the use of pneumatic elevators will result in reduced extraction time, reduced pain and greater operator ease thereby enhancing overall clinical efficiency and patient experience.
