Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with age group between 40 to 70 years, complaining of Varicose vein ulcer in lower limb, also having C-6 GRADE of CEAP classification.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: History and positive Homan s sign of deep vein thrombosis, history of allergy to powder appliance.

To assess the wound healing activity of Triphala Mashi in venous ulcerTimepoint: To assess clinical changes of venous ulcer wound with TRIPHALA MASHI using Bates Jensen wound assessment tool for a period of 21 days with assessment on the 7th, 14th and 21st day.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To assess clinical changes of venous ulcer wound with TRIPHALA MASHI using Bates Jensen wound assessment tool.Timepoint: Patients with venous ulcer wounds ranging from 1 sq cm to 25 sq cm will be selected based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria for a trial lasting 5 weeks, including a 21-day intervention period with daily dressing and assessments of healing on days 7, 14, and 21. After the intervention, a 2-week follow-up will be conducted, with the total trial duration, including follow-up, being 5 weeks, during which the percentage of wound healing will be calculated.
