Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adults aged 18â??60 years. Clinically diagnosed with Serious Mental Illness as per ICD-11 criteria. Capable of providing written informed consent as judged by the consultant psychiatrist. Scoring of 18 and above in Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA). Patients identified as having low assertiveness in the pretest in Multidimensional Assessment of Assertiveness (MAA).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Severe cognitive impairments (MoCA score less than 18). Acute psychiatric symptoms preventing group participation as judged by the consultant psychiatrist.
