Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The patient is diagnosed with clinical features of Amavastha, which corresponds to the early inflammatory stage of Vranashotha (cellulitis). The study includes patients irrespective of sex, within the age group of 16 to 70 years.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients contraindicated for Raktamokshana include those with severe anaemia, immune-compromised conditions, and malignancy. Pregnant women are also contraindicated. Additionally, patients with uncontrolled systemic diseases such as hypertension and diabetes mellitus, as well as those with bleeding disorders like haemophilia, should not undergo Raktamokshana.
